Prologue
New Jersey was one of the middle colonies. Lord Berkeley and Sir George Carteret discovered in 1664.
Geography and Climate
It was a mountainous region that had rich, fertile soil that was perfect for farming. The Climate in New Jersey had a moderate one. Nice, warm summers and mild winters. Those two combined make an excellent area for farming and agriculture.
Religion
New Jersey did not have any specific religion, so the residents enjoyed having a freedom of religion. These include Quakers, Catholics, Lutherans, Jews, etc.
Resources
The resources with the New Jersey colony include rich farmland soil, hard wood, fur and coal. The main industry in New Jersey at this time was to export these goods to neighboring colonies.
